Tuesday, July 7, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m., Morgan Hill Steve Tate Library
“An Evening with Renaissance Philosopher Niccolò Machiavelli“
Sister Cities and the Morgan Hill Steve Tate Library are pleased to co-host an event about the thought and work of modern political science’s founding father and author of The Prince, Niccolò Machiavelli.
Machiavelli is a Renaissance philosopher from Florence, Italy, a few miles north of San Casciano Val Di Pesa, a Sister City with Morgan Hill. He is best known for his political treatise, The Prince, and has influenced every political philosopher after him.
The presentation is part of an annual Italian event that alternates locations: the Festival Machiavellerie, as it is known in Italian, is hosted in San Casciano / Florence, and in an alternate year the Festival is hosted in an international city. Sister Cities is proud to bring the presentation to Morgan Hill in honor of Morgan Hill’s 120th anniversary in 2026.
The annual Festival Machiavellerie is a wonderful cultural event celebrating the life, works, and legacy of Niccolò Machiavelli, whose influence on modern political philosophy is enormous.

Saturday, June 6, 2026, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Sister Cities is proud to participate in the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce’s cultural event, “Multicultural Showcase” at the Community & Cultural Center’s Outdoor Amphitheater, 17000 Monterey Road. The Chamber’s website covers event info. Sister Cities is hosting a booth, along with many other local agencies, food trucks, entertainers, and more!
